"The most interesting part of this art piece is that is hand cut from a flat piece of bronze with the edges filed to perfection. The curves are formed with the use of a rubber mallet and an anvil. When bent, the flat piece of metal becomes a reflection of the man in the moon. When the piece is turned around you can see the moon with the human face in the background. We have used a silver patina for the moon side and a golden reddish Italian patina for the man.
This piece responds to the romanticism that we sense when we look at the moon and find shapes and characters in it."
