"The inspiration for Rabbit Kokopelli comes from a petroglyph that caught my eye near Velarde, New Mexico. It depicts a rabbit playing an instrument that is more like a saxaphone than the classic flute. Often Kokopelli is depicted as an animal, and these figures are known as 'zoomorphs.'"
